Youth Activities
St. Paul's recently expanded our youth ministry program by joining with Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Jefferson City and Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville and hiring a youth minister.
The youth of all three churches are excited about having more opportunities to put their faith into action.
For fun-raising...and fundraising, the Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO) hosts a spaghetti supper in the spring and a concession stand during the Lohman community's 4th of July celebration. They then use these monies to support projects they are working on, and to help pay for fun activities they do throughout the year.
Each summer, we join an ecumenical, community-wide Vacation Bible School. Last year there more than 100 kids who came together to sing, do crafts, and learn about God's plan for their lives.
In recent years our youth have traveled to the Lutheran Youth Gathering as well as other events sponsored by the Missouri Kansas Synod of the ELCA.
