Brass Band

St. Paul’s Brass Band plays during the Easter Sunday worship service.

St. Paul’s didn’t set out to have a Brass Band…it just sort of happened that way.

There was one guy who played the trumpet in high school. He started talking to another guy who played the tuba.

Pretty soon there was a trombone player in the mix.

Then a few more folks confessed to being trumpet players.

Someone listening in on all this said, “You’ve got enough people. Why don’t you put together a band.”

And there you have it: the official origin story of St. Paul’s Brass Band.

We play at Christmas Eve church services and at special music services during the year.

Do you play brass? If so, join with us in making a joyful noise.
